Consultation
Every project begins with a relaxed design consultation in your home for clients local to Manchester or online for those further afield.
We'll spend between one to two plus hours together depending on the number of rooms you’d like to discuss. This gives us time to relax into it & discuss your project in detail.
Your consultation is key to the success of your project & devoting this time to get to know you & understand your project shapes the beginning of the design process.
It's always such a valuable opportunity to talk through your project & so often it's during these conversations that ideas start to form & I can get to the heart of what you’d love & need.

Some clients are looking for a multiple room design service whilst others require a lighting plan for an extension they’re planning. My services are flexible and we will discuss your project in detail during our consultation.
We’ll spend time in the room/s that you plan to work on and if your house is one big project, building site or if there’s nothing to see yet e.g. an extension or loft conversion that hasn’t been built yet, that’s ok too!

You’ll have time to consider the project document, including the fee proposal. There is no obligation to go ahead.
If you would like to accept the proposal, you’ll receive a payment request for an agreed percentage of the design fee.
Once your payment has been received, Design Studio work begins and the second payment is due following the Concept Design presentation.
Once complete, you’ll receive your final invoice followed by your design document & sample pack* for you to self implement or include in the tender pack if you’re working with an architect.

+ You’ll receive a welcome email to schedule your consultation, a payment request for your consultation and a link to complete a more detailed form about your project. The latter enables me to prepare for your consultation.
+ If your consultation is online, you’ll receive a guided request for additional information prior to the consultation.
